Helping the family Ford garage every summer holiday, from pumping petrol to changing tyres, finding parts on the microfiche to cleaning cars and getting cars ready for collection.

Studied architecture and researched the concept and philosophy of the flâneur, which was to combine with an interest in the urban street with architecture and cars.

Now a chartered architect, re-enters the automotive world working for Mercedes-Benz and DaimlerChrysler and helping to bring the Mercedes-Benz World at Brooklands to life.

Establishes the Car Marketing Archive as a result of the sudden demise of printed car literature, and the growing interest in the cars of the 1970s and 1980s which fast disappears from our streets.

July 2022 flâneur HQ opens, offering a range of new and collectable books, models and automobilia, together with offering research services.
